Hi,I’m Mindy. It’s nice to have you here with me! Before I tell you more about me,I’d like to tell you why I started this blog.
When it comes to life, things are so different than they used to be. We live in such a fast-paced society full of so many un-wholesome temptations and time-fillers. But lately,my heart has been longing to discover a different kind of life -
A simple life.
I’ve been researching, experimenting, and making some changes in my home and in our family. And mostly…
I’m working on me.
- and other ways
So what is wholesome living?
What exactly does wholesome mean anyway?
Wholesome: Conducive to moral or general well-being;beneficial;healthy.
Yep,that sounds about right.
- But is it really possible or realistic to live a wholesome life in this world of ours?
- To raise children in a wholesome environment?
- To thrive and not just survive?
- If so,how do we go about it?
I’m on a journey to find the answers to these questions. And I want to share with you what I discover.
If you want, you can join me.
I’m a follower of Christ and passionate homemaker. I’m blessed to be the wife of a wonderful man named Jason. He’s my “knight in shining armor”,and my best friend. I’m also the mommy of 4 very busy, but precious children –2 boys and 2 girls –ages 5,4,2 and 1.
I’m a stay-at-home mommy and newbie homeschooler. I’m an amature photographer and my husband and children are my favorite subjects. I’ve been singing since I was a little girl, and I enjoy playing the piano. If you’re interested, you can find some homemade videos under “mindysue77″on youtube.com.
I’ve always enjoyed writing, reading good books, and watching home movies. Capturing memories is really important to me.
I’m an aspiring runner, violin player, healthy cook, and maker of natural health and beauty products (in all my spare time). Ha!
Honestly,I enjoy watching, doing and learning a lot of different things and sometimes wish there was more time to do them all! But my heart’s desires are to be a good wife and mom,to be a Proverbs 31 woman,to raise my children to serve Jesus,to lead people around the world in the worship of our God,and to take as many people to Heaven with me as possible.
I just want to be real. I want people to see Jesus in me. I want to make a difference in someone’s life. I want God to use the pain from my past, and the victories I experience as a source of hope for those who are hurting. I want God to get the glory for all the wonderful things He’s done in my life.
I want to be who God made me to be.
